Hi! I am Basil K Aji, an AI Engineer based in Kerala, India. I completed my Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Amrita University and hold a Bachelor's degree from Mahatma Gandhi University (MG University).
I have a huge interest in Amodal Research — the fascinating challenge of enabling machines to perceive and reason about parts of objects that are hidden or occluded from view. I love diving deep into how vision systems can go beyond what is directly visible to build complete, holistic scene understanding, and I am actively working on projects at the intersection of amodal perception and deep learning.
